olds 307 to chevy 350 swap

I was thinking about swapping a chevy 350 into my 1986 oldsmobile and I was wondering what transmission I could use so I wouldnt have to get a new drive shaft.

1. WHY not go with an Olds 350? or 403? 403's are also small blocks and bolt right in... and are cooler than an Olds/Chevy hybrid... and tire frying TORQUEY!

2. If you must go Chevy, the 200-4R w/ OD from an '86 & newer Monte or Pontiac GP goes right in with the same driveshaft... as does the 3-speed TH350 or TH 200 from an '85 and earlier...
